Assignment 1

Extensions on the assignment must be negotiated well in advance of the due date.

An assignment is late if it is not turned in by 9:30AM on February 11. For each 24 hour period that an assignment is late, 10 points will be deducted from the point total.

Midterm

Due March 3.

The midterm is available on Sakai.

Assignment 2

Due April 14.

Extensions on the assignment must be negotiated well in advance of the due date.

An assignment is late if it is not turned in by midnight Eastern time on April 14. For each 24 hour period that an assignment is late, 10 points will be deducted from the point total.

Final exam

Due May 2.

The final exam will be given online via Sakai. It is open book, open notes. The exam will be available starting 12:01am EDT on Monday, April 27 until 11:59pm EDT on Sunday, May 3. Once you decide to start the exam, you will have six hours to complete it (which should be far longer than you need—the extra time is in case of unexpected interruptions).

The final will cover material from the entire semester. It will primarily be multiple choice questions, though you may also be asked to provide an explanation for your choice on some of the questions. There will be a handful of short answer questions as well, but no long answer / essay questions.
